Subagent-driven development skill

Subagent-driven development is part of Superpowers, Jesse Vincent's development method. Its job is to execute a plan task by task through fresh subagents, with a review after each one. It loads on its own when a request matches its description, and you can also call it by name.

When the agent reaches for it

The agent keeps every installed skill's description in view and loads the full instructions when a request matches. This is the description it reads:

Use when executing implementation plans with independent tasks in the current session

What the instructions cover

The sections of its SKILL.md, in order.

  • When to Use
  • The Process
  • Setup
  • Model Selection
  • The Task Loop
  • Final Review
  • Finish
  • Common Rationalizations
  • Example Workflow

What ships with it

Besides SKILL.md, the folder carries these. The agent opens them only when a step in the instructions calls for one.

  • scripts/ 3 files · 4 KB
  • implementer-prompt.md 6 KB
  • re-review-prompt.md 5 KB
  • task-reviewer-prompt.md 9 KB
