Ask Matt skill

Ask Matt is part of Matt Pocock's engineering skills. Its job is to ask which skill or flow fits where you are. A router over the rest of the set. It runs only when you call it by name; the agent never loads it on its own.

When it runs

Only when you ask for it. The skill turns off automatic loading, so the agent never starts it on its own. This is the description it carries:

Ask which skill or flow fits your situation. A router over the skills in this repo.

What the instructions cover

The sections of its SKILL.md, in order.

  • The main flow: idea → ship
  • On-ramps
  • Codebase health
  • Vocabulary underneath
  • Phase boundaries
  • Standalone
  • Precondition

What ships with it

Besides SKILL.md, the folder carries these. The agent opens them only when a step in the instructions calls for one.

  • PHASE-BOUNDARIES.md 4 KB
