Requesting code review skill

Requesting code review is part of Superpowers, Jesse Vincent's development method. Its job is to ask for a review at the right moments, with a reviewer prompt that checks against requirements. It loads on its own when a request matches its description, and you can also call it by name.

When the agent reaches for it

The agent keeps every installed skill's description in view and loads the full instructions when a request matches. This is the description it reads:

Use when completing tasks, implementing major features, or before merging to verify work meets requirements

What the instructions cover

The sections of its SKILL.md, in order.

  • When to Request Review
  • How to Request
  • Example
  • Common Rationalizations
  • Red Flags

What ships with it

Besides SKILL.md, the folder carries these. The agent opens them only when a step in the instructions calls for one.

  • code-reviewer.md 6 KB
